Testing Clinical Trial Recruitment

Overview:

Developed an interactive touchscreen display for a study on Latina breast cancer recruitment conducted by the Institute for Health Promotion Research at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio.

The study considered if Latinas who viewed an interactive media intervention, received a tailored brochure and had contact with a community health worker would have increased self-efficacy and informed decision-making to enter breast cancer clinical trials, and have a higher acceptance rate than the control group.

Developed UI, sourced/created 2D graphics, programmed branched navigation and packaged course on touchscreen computer.

My role as the lead media developer was to work directly with the client, collaborate with our video team, create and package all the various parts of the touchscreen presentation and provide any needed ongoing support.
